Implied nudes are fine art portraits with a suggestion of nudity. They are photographs that show no clothing or private parts.

The human brain is an expert at filling in blanks and coming to its own natural conclusions. This is is something I learned and applied in my drawings: I never drew a hard line but always allowed the viewers’ brain to participate, to fill-in the gaps, to draw the missing stroke. The same applies to implied nude portraiture. The suggestion off nudity teases the brain into assuming nudity.

The unseen plays an enormous role. Leaving the viewer guessing, wondering, creating their own unseen truth.

Playing with this element of uncertainty adds a very strong compositional layer to these images. Implied rather than explicitly stated creates classy portrait. Portrait that are beautiful, artistic, compelling and delicately provocative. This is what I love. This is what is so elegant. Nudity is suspected but no private parts are visible.

Not baring all, creating little secrets, implying something that isn’t, makes boudoir sessions like the white sheet session so much fun and accessible. My sitters get comfortable and playful within a heartbeat and truly enjoy their session. They never need to go further than their comfort zone.

A bikini can be wor. The viewer would be none the wiser. No one looking at the images would never know but the result leaves them speechless and guessing.
