A new round of awards, a new round of learning

Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.

Napoleon Hill

Growth, the journey of learning of creating something you thought was near impossible, daring to face the buzz of showing your work to your peers is how awards make my photography journey something continuously special and surprising. By pushing boundaries, learning new skills, techniques and daring to see deeper you suddenly feel that you might well be able to become a good photographer with the power and the skills to produce continuously work of quality.

Two years ago I discovered the invaluable mentoring and support of Sue Bryce Education. I accepted the challenge set in by the 90 day start-up and have used the tools and teachings continuously in my growth as a photographer. Having the courage to enter awards is also very much linked to the insight I have received there.

Top 20 Boudoir Portrait

This was such a big wow moment, one that sent out a flurry of little tingles of joy, a delicious icing on the already beautiful cake.

Placing in the top 20 at the Portrait Masters is somewhat surreal. The level of skill and excellence of the work entered into the awards is quite simply amazing.
