Location shoot: crime author Patricia Weiss
Crimes are by definition horrible ugly deeds committed with hate and violence or worst still calculated hate.
Crime authors are no such thing. A chunk of their artistic brain is without a doubt a tad dark and gory but that doesn't in anyway define them as a person.
Opposites, contrast, harsh differences are one of my pet go-toos in art and this shoot definitely was filled with them from start to finish, mysterious shadows included.
The session was set in Patricia's beautiful home. A beautiful canvas for our dramatic black and white Bond meets Marlyn Monroe type of shoot. Not to mention this meant excellent coffee was on tap but also excellent supervision: white canine fluff pup Struppi made sure none of us went dog-hug free.
It was a perfect shoot. Here are the shots to prove it
