Portrait photography is a genre, a strong art form which allows for the creation of timeless, elegant black and white images to share with the world. It is a door through which I can authentically connect with real people inviting them to take center stage. My experience as a finer art artist has hugely influenced my photography work and style. This love for detail and authentic quality have most definitely trickled over into my contemporary portrait work. As a mother and daughter, I fully understand the value of existing in pictures, of capturing precious moments in our family's lives before it passes us by.
